Techno GIS Indonesia berkesempatan untuk melakukan pengenalan produk di Fakultas Geografi, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh jajaran dekanat Fakultas Geografi. Relasi yang baik antara Techno GIS Indonesia dan Fakultas Geografi tidak terlepas dari peran Bapak Ir. Sarono, S.Si., M.Eng., sebagai salah satu alumni Fakultas Geografi yang terus mengembangkan teknologi geospasial melalui Techno GIS Indonesia.

Berbagai produk yang telah diproduksi oleh TechnoGIS diperkenalkan dan didemonstrasikan kepada mahasiswa serta dosen Fakultas Geografi. Mulai dari produk TGS GNSS EQ1 RTK yang menjadi metode terbaik digunakan dalam medan yang sulit, UAV NIVO Long Range V2 yang sangat inovatif dan dapat dimanfaatkan dalam segala lahan, hingga Blue Marine Echosounder Batimetry, GeoLiDAR TLS – Terestrial Laser Scanner yang lebih unggul dibandingkan penggunaan foto udara, dan produk Landcam LC-4 Spectra Camera Multispectral. Program GIS yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk berbagai bidang juga berhasil dimanfaatkan oleh TechnoGIS, yang membuatnya mudah diakses oleh masyarakat melalui diciptakannya aplikasi GIS Survey Mobile yang dapat diakses secara gratis melalui Android.

Dengan adanya demonstrasi produk ini, harapannya Techno GIS Indonesia dapat berperan aktif dalam pengadaan dan pengembangan alat serta teknologi di bidang geospasial melalui kerjasama yang baik dengan Fakultas Geografi Universitas Gadjah Mada.
